Essay Topics For Lifespan Psychology - Choosing The Right Topic
Essay Topics For Lifespan Psychology - Choosing The Right TopicIn planning your essay topics for lifespan, it's important to keep the process short and concise. You will want to organize the material you have planned for the essay into a meaningful package that is sure to convince your reader that you understand this life stage of a child or young adult and can offer an objective perspective. In adult life, adolescence is an exciting time, marked by excitement, transformation, and change. Unfortunately, the changes that are a result of the adolescent stage can be a difficult time for some young adults. You should be aware of the possible implications of change that may occur during this time, which may impact the course of the life of the individual in a negative way. Some changes may not be intentional, but may be consequences of hormones associated with the reproductive system. These changes, caused by changing hormones, can cause many difficulties for the young adult. Your topic mig ht be centered on these types of problems, which are often not so apparent until later in life. Some of the issues surrounding changing hormones in adulthood can include the following:- The changing hormone levels associated with the Puberty Stage cause both physical and psychological changes, which can result in a greater sensitivity to stimulation as well as a heightened sense of awareness. In addition, there is a heightened need for social interaction and may be more prone to depression.- Again, the hormones associated with the teenage years can have a negative impact on the young adults as well. Your topic could be centered on these types of issues, which may involve different forms of therapy to help the individual cope with these issues.- In addition to puberty and reproduction, the effects of these changes can manifest themselves in many other ways as the individuals enter into their mature years. Many of the issues that could occur in adulthood, such as anxiety, emotional stability, and an increased need for communication, are all common during the transition into adulthood. You may wish to include the following type of topic when you write the essay for lifespan:- Changes that occur during the transition into maturity can also be associated with the death of a loved one. If you are writing a topic on life after death, it is important to note that some people experience the death of a loved one before they reach the mature years, which could change their lives dramatically.Using these three types of essay topics for lifespan is very useful. This is a time in the life of the young adult, when changes are going to be occurring all around them, so why not write about them?
Essay With Topics - Make Sure You Choose Your Topic Carefully
Essay With Topics - Make Sure You Choose Your Topic CarefullyWriting a good essay with topics is very important. It is one of the main requirements of higher education, and it should be maintained in the best possible manner to achieve success. However, since there are numerous pitfalls in such an undertaking, it's often difficult to achieve the results you have desired. But with the right tips and pointers, it will not be difficult at all. While writing an essay with topics, you need to make sure that you start off from a point where you are confident of your writing. The major advantage of writing essays is that it allows you to take advantage of the experience that you have gained in the classroom. In order to do this, the first thing you need to do is to set up an outline, which is your route to the exact topic of the essay. This is a very simple process. Before setting up the outline, you should decide what you want to cover in the course. For example, if you are studying for an e xam, you can make use of the outline to find out what types of questions the examiner would ask, or what type of questions the examiner would answer. When you are setting up the outline, you need to determine the nature of the topic of the essay. It can be any of the following: biology, astronomy, chemistry, sociology, political science, etc. After that, it is also a good idea to make a list of what you have planned to write in the essay, such as what subtopics you need to study and other relevant facts. A simple list will help you in getting your thesis off the ground. Since there are so many topics to choose from, the key is to pick the topic that you feel most comfortable in writing about. The next step to create a useful structure is to draw up a list of key topics. They can be used to link other topics or provide a different view to the main topic. For example, instead of just writing about your personal life, you can start by discussing a specific aspect of your work.It is also important to write a general outline of the main theme and then narrow down to each subtopic. For example, if you want to make a broader view of the issue, write about a particular area or subject. The last step to get the best result from your essay with topics is to go through your work multiple times to ensure that you don't miss anything. Most essays require a few extra sentences to make certain points more clear. If there are certain words that you use in your writing that you might need later, it is a good idea to use them from time to time.

10 Facts About Spanish Conjunctions
10 Facts About Spanish Conjunctions Here are 10 facts about conjunctions that will be useful as you learn Spanish: 1. Conjunctions are a type of connecting word. Conjunctions make up one of the parts of speech and are used to connect sentences, phrases, or words with each other. Generally, a conjunction will link two words, phrases, or sentences of the same type, such as a noun with a noun or a sentence with another sentence. These sample sentences demonstrative just a few of the ways this part of speech can be used: asà que (so): Estoy enferma, asà que no puedo ir a la playa. (Im sick, so I cant go to the beach.)con el fin de que (so, with the goal of): Ella estudiaba con el fin de que sea doctor. (She studied with the goal of being a doctor.)o (or): à ¿Tà © o cafà ©? (Tea or coffee?)porque (because): Ganà © porque soy inteligente. (I won because I am smart.)si (if): Si voy a la tienda, comprarà © un pan. (If I go to the store, I will buy a loaf of bread.)y (and): Me gustan el chocolate y la vainilla. (I like chocolate and vanilla.) 2. Conjunctions can be classified in a variety of ways. One common scheme classifies conjunctions as coordinating (linking two words, sentences or phrases of equal grammatical status), subordinating (making the meaning of a clause dependà on another clause or sentence), and correlative (coming in pairs). Other classification schemes for Spanish list a dozen or more types of conjunctions such as conjunciones adversativas (adversative conjunctions such as but or pero that set up a contrast), conjunciones condicionales (conditional conjunctions such as if or si that set up a condition) and conjunciones ilativas (illative conjunctions such as por eso or therefore that are used in explaining the reason for something). 3. Conjunctions can be made up of more than one word. Spanish abounds with short phrases that are used as conjunctions and function as a single word. Examples include sin embargo (nevertheless), a causa de (because), por lo tanto (therefore), para que (in order that), and aun cuando (even if). (Note that the translations given here and throughout this article arent the only ones possible.) 4. Two of the most common conjunctions change form when coming before certain words. Y, which usually means and, changes to e when it comes before a word that starts with the sound of i. And o, which usually means or, changes to u when it comes before a word starting with the sound of o. For example, we would write palabras u oraciones (words or sentences) instead of palabras o oraciones and nià ±os u hombres (boys or men) instead of nià ±os o hombres. This change of y and o is similar to the way a becomes an before certain words in English, in order to help keep the sound of the first word from disappearing into the second. As with English a becoming and, the change is based on pronunciation rather than spelling. 5. Certain conjunctions are usually or always followed by a clause with a verb in the subjunctive mood. Examples include a fin de que (in order to) and a condicià ³n de que (provided that). 6. The very common conjunction que often doesnt have to be translated to English but is essential in Spanish. Que as a conjunction usually means that as in the sentence Creo que estaban felices (I believe that they were happy). Note how that sentence could also be translated without the that: I believe they were happy. But the que remains essential to the Spanish sentence. The que in such sentences should not be confused with que as a relative pronoun, which follows different grammatical rules and cannot be omitted in translation. 7. A conjunction can come at the beginning of a sentence. Although a conjunction is a linking word, it doesnt always come between the two clauses or words linked. An example is si, the word for if, which often is used to begin a sentence. It also is acceptable to begin a sentence with y, the word for and. Often, y starts a sentence to provide emphasis. For example, à ¿Y las diferencias entre tà º y yo? might be translated as What about the differences between you and me? 8. Many of the words that function as conjunctions can also function as other parts of speech. For example, luego is a conjunction in Pienso, luego existo (I think, therefore I am) but an adverb in Vamos luego a la playa (Were going to the beach later). 9. Distributive conjunctions are made up of two words that are separated by other words. Among these is o ... o, which usually means either ... or as in O à ©l o ella puede firmarlo (Either he or she can sign it). Also common is ni ... ni as in No soy ni la primera ni la à ºltima (I am neither the first nor the last). 10. Some conjunctions are used in explaining when or where something occurs. The most common ones are cuando and donde, respectively. Example: Recuerdo cuando me dijiste donde pudiera encontrar la felicidad (I remember when you told me where I could find happiness).

Economics of Industry - Market structure in the aircraft manufacturing Research Paper
Economics of Industry - Market structure in the aircraft manufacturing industry - Research Paper Example (Boeing, 2011) Boeing, then expanded by acquiring Vertol Aircraft Corporation in 1960. (The Boeing Company, 2011) In 1996, Boeing took overà Rockwellââ¬â¢s aerospace and defense units. Then in August 1997, Boeing merged withà McDonnell Douglas. This merger allowed Boeing's leadership to increase as it joined with the line of Douglas airplanes. (The Boeing Company, 2011) The tax breaks given to Boeing by the US government have also helped in the expansion of the firm. It is believed that subsidies for the defense wing of Boeing have also helped with the commercial side of aircraft manufacturing. (Irwin & Pavcnik, 2003) In 2002, Boeingââ¬â¢s market share was 54%, however it is now struggling to maintain it. (Taylor & tillman, 2002) Airbus Airbusà is aà subsidiary ofà EADS, European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company. (Airbus, 2011) It was a government initiative by France, Germany and UK in 1967. It started off as aà consortiumà of aerospace manufacturers,à Airb us Industry. The combination of the European defense and aerospace companies in 2000 led to a companyà being established in 2001. BAE Systems and EADS transferred their assets to Airbusà SAS, for ownership in that company. EADSà owned 80% andà BAE Systemsà 20%. (BBC News, 2000) In October 2006, BAE sold its ownership to EADS. Airbus Industry was officially recognized in December 1970. It is believed that Airbus has only been successful due to protection used by the European countries and a large launch aid. WTO reached a decision in August 2010 and May 2011 that Airbus had indeed received unacceptable government subsidies from several European countries which resulted in lower sales of Boeing aircrafts. (New York Times, 2011) Airbusââ¬â¢ market share has been steadily increasing sine its share of 46% in 2002. (Taylor & tillman, 2002) Product Development Boeing Boeing has approximately 12,000 commercial aircrafts in use globally, which constitutes around 75 percent of th e world fleet. Through Boeing Training & Flight Services, it trains maintenance and flight staff in the 100-seat-and-above airliner market. Boeing has over 159000 employees, working in 71 countries (The telegraph, 2011). Through this diverse workforce and extensive training, the companyââ¬â¢s product development ability has increased. In aircraft manufacturing, focus has always been on developing low cost, high quality aircrafts. Hence, approximately half of the current commercial aircrafts will be replaced in the next 20 years due to technological obsolescence and inefficiencies. This will increase the demand for new ones. Approximately 1,362 commercial aircraft orders were placed in 2010, greater than twice the amount placed in 2009. (Bombardier Commercial Aircraft, 2011) Emphasis is also on fuel efficient and environmentally friendly productions. Boeing, together with Air New Zealand has undertaken research on sustainable alternatives to conventional fuel. (Boeing, 2011) Exten sive and expensive research allows better versions of existing aircrafts to be developed and new aircrafts to be launched in this oligopolistic market. Boeing has also resorted to outsourcing its production to Japanese suppliers includingà Mitsubishi Heavy Industriesà andà Kawasaki Heavy Industries. The use of advanced technology has allowed Boeing to enhance its production capabilities. (Reuters, 2011) Airbus An internal air transportation system is used to airlift

Why people on goverment assistance should be drug tested to recieve Essay
Why people on goverment assistance should be drug tested to recieve assistance - Essay Example Pollack shows that in the states of Mississippi and Illinois, families receive varying benefits meant for poor families, especially single mothers. For example, in Illinois, the monthly based amount for the temporary assistances to needy families stands at 432 dollars compared to 170 dollars in Mississippi. The varying amounts received by poor families is seen a problem, additionally, there has been an increasing number of families requesting for benefits. Despite the rising problems of tackling increasing poor families, a number of states have introduced the idea of drug testing. This is an act whereby a member of the family requesting for benefits is put into test to ascertain if he or she is under drug influence. Pollack argues that the screening done by the government on families to receive benefits meant for poor does not address anything. According to the author, some states have achieved less or nothing despite their efforts to bring forth this matter of drug testing. The drug testing done on states like Michigan has failed or achieved less for the last 13 years according to the author. Additionally, legislators in Michigan are hoping that the act of drug testing for benefits is best and will be beneficial since it has been done in 29 other states. With the 29 states, 8 states have benefited from drug testing. According to Spencer, drug testing is currently undergoing in 28 states. The legislators in those states explain that drug testing must be done in order to lock out individuals requesting for benefits yet they are on drugs. In Oklahoma, the Republican Governor Mary Fallin explains that drug testing is done so as not to humiliate taxpayers. Parts of the taxes paid by the Oklahoma citizens are used to help the poor in terms of Temporary Assistances to Needy Families. The Governor explains that in order to avoid funding or subsidizing drug abuse by some of the individuals requesting for assistances from the government, drug testing must be done. This shows that legislators are supporting drug tests on those asking for government assistances based on the idea of drug abuse by those who benefit from the package. The governor of Oklahoma says that tests will be done and those who pass the drug testing are provided with the benefits while those who fail or refuse the test will be barred from getting the benefits until they reform. The process of drug test is also happening in Tennessee with the main focus being drug abuse by the individuals requesting for government assistance. Spencer also explains that drugs have brought problems to the society especially poor people. In addition, drug abuse is also problematic to the working class. There have been also increasing number of people requesting for help from the government to support themselves since the 2008 financial crisis. The fact is that there has been a rise in the number of the unemployed, cost of goods, housing and health care insurance. The government has to address all tho se cases with the help of funding. The idea of drug testing arises because high numbers of poor people in the society are drug users. Drug abuse can only be broken on those requesting for benefits if they are sure that they are to undergo the testing before they receive the benefits. Additionally, the government is fighting to address all the cases mentioned above and others like unemployment benefits. Millions of dollars have to be used in addressing those issues inclusive of drug abuse. In order to reduce these cases, drug testing is important as it is one way of reducing drug abuse. Additionally, taxes from tax payers will be channeled elsewhere like unemployment benefits and welfare benefits. Furthermore, Carpenter (1), explains that tighter budgets and high demands by the people from the
